You can now get a direct link to a search match by clicking the link icon. This helps collaborating with other people. The links are not consistent over database updates.
The cherrypicking menu now also offers the option to add another obligatory search term instead of replacing the current one

We added an option download the timeline data used in the timeline chart. Just click on the download button undert to the chart to download a csv file

We added an option download the states data used in the states map. Just click on the download button next to the map to download a csv file

We added an option to filter bei start and end date. This allows a more granular research within the result set.

The database was updated to version 2.4.0 including protocols up to Februar 27, 2025. This version contains 14,852,593 rows in 10,311 protocols
Add sorting by oldest date. Now there are three sorting options: By relevance, by newst date, and by oldest date
Add BSW to the affiliations list including the search filter suggestions

We introduced tags for the search. The tags represents filters or sortings. When clicking or tapping on a filter, the filter is removed.

The choropleth map comes now with a legend describing the distribution which comes in quantiles

The search shows now an exact number of matches. Previously, there was only a exact number when the amount of matches were less than the number of matches per page.
The restriction on the number of possible words in a search query is removed. Now, there is only a restriction on the number of words in quotation marks. A maximum of two words are allowed within exact phrase match markers. "Ein buntes Deutschland" is not allowed, "buntes Deutschland" is allowed.

The API is now hosted on a more powerful server which will improve its performance significantly.
